college'd

yesterday was the first day of school. it was pretty easy for me, definitely my easiest day of the week. i had theatre at 9:30 with a super cool professor who is from kenya and tells us to call him by his first name. then i dont have to go back to class until 1:30, which is my orientation class. all in all i think this college thing might be okay. it's hard getting adjusted to this whole independence and freedom thing. i guess since i've already got people here that i know, i won't step out of my comfort zone or anything. i havent really met any new people. i am always friendly and say hi to people but i don't even know my suitemates. i have met one of them. and the other one i couldn't pick out of a crowd. i've never even met her. dorm life is pretty cool. i mean the "mandatory" floor meetings are bullshit and i am not really feeling the whole community thing they keep talking about. i just want a place to live. i mind my business, you mind yours. eh. i guess i have been kinda cranky the past couple days.
i definitely should be going because i have to get ready for class. today is a tough day.
